Start time/Dismissal time?
8:10 am-2:45 pm. If your child arrives after 8:10AM, they are considered tardy.

Absent?
You must call the office before 8:30 am to let us know your child will not be at school. Upon their return, please send a note that explains the reason for the absence.

Drop-off procedure in the AM?
Enter from University Blvd. Follow the cones (in the west parking lot) and proceed to the "drop off zone". Please be sure to pull all the way forward to allow several cars to drop off at one time. A small amount of space between cars allows for more people to drop off at one time.

Pick-up procedure for the PM?
Cars should be in the parking lot by 2:45 pm. All vehicles face Manchester Road. After the children are dismissed and safely in their cars, exit onto Manchester Road.

Changing how your child goes home for the day?
You must send a note to the teacher informing them of the change.

Picking up early or appointments during school hours?
An adult must go to the office and sign the student out. The staff will call the child to the office to meet you. Upon your child's return from the appointment, he/she must sign back in at the office.

Visitors Policy?
All visitors must "buzz in" at one of the two main doors and sign-in at the office. You will be given a visitor badge to wear during your stay. Sign out in the office before you leave.

Need school uniforms and spirit wear?
The Falcon's Nest is located in the hallway next to the cafeteria. Open on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month from 6:00 - 8:00 pm.

Can some supplies be purchased at school?
We do have a book store that is open every morning from 8:05 until 8:20.

What is a "value voucher?"
Each month, the school has a different value that is stressed. If a teacher or staff member sees a student using this value, they will get a value voucher card. That card is to be placed in the boxes in the office. Twice a month, two cards will be pulled out for special value voucher prizes.

PTO Meetings?
2nd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the library; all are welcome!

School Board Meetings?
3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 pm in the library; all are welcome!

What are ways that I can volunteer at John XXIII?
At the beginning of each school year, PTO will send home a packet of information which will list all of the ways you can volunteer for John XXIII. Please fill out any forms for activities that you would be able to volunteer for and return to the school office. The school office will then submit all of those forms to PTO.
